The Broken Arrow Rose Festival is again partnering with Chalk It Up! An Art Festival for an amazing full weekend of family-friendly fun. Two Festivals in one! The combined festivals will bring chalk art, artist vendors, street performers, free kid’s activities, Rose Show, garden groups, food trucks, plus a kite event on Sunday! We have new activities planned for even more excitement in 2023!
The Rose Festival is a celebration of Broken Arrow’s return to its history as “The City of Roses” and is a fund-raiser for the future Gardens of Central Park. Chalk It Up is a celebration of creativity and is a fundraiser for the new Broken Arrow Creative Arts Center.
100% of the proceeds from your booth fee will be split between Chalk It Up’s Art Center and the Rose Festival’s future garden.
General Information
Note: Vendors will only participate on Friday & Saturday, September 29 – September 30 in the Rose District.
Marketplace vendors must emphasize the theme of the festivals and have something related to roses, art, kids, or gardens at their booth. Some examples include a drawing for a bouquet, a gift certificate to the Arts @ 302 Center or art store, or a craft or game. Your accommodation of this requirement must be included in your application.
All entries will be reviewed and then the booth selections will be made based on the variety of products, booth appearance, and quality of the product. Space is limited so submit your signed, completed marketplace vendor application as soon as possible for consideration.
Application Deadline is August 15, 2023.
Notification of acceptance will be sent by July 21, 2023. Please do not send payment until the application is accepted. The acceptance letter will include a link to pay the booth fees. After your acceptance and your payment has been received, a confirmation email will be sent 2 or 3 weeks before the festival.
The Vendor is responsible for all sales transactions and reporting of sales tax.
Booth fee:
The fee for a 10’ x 10’ booth space is $155. You will not have to share any additional sales profit with the Festivals. Vendors will be provided a 10 x 10 space and agree to provide their own display set up: tent, display walls, tables, chairs & screens. All tents must be secured with, for example, cement blocks.
Security: Police officers will be on duty throughout the Festival including overnight from Friday night to Saturday morning.
