The Broken Arrow Rose Festival is partnering with Chalk It Up! An Art Festival for an amazing full weekend of family friendly fun. Two Festivals in one! The combined festivals will bring chalk art, music, street performers, vendors, kid’s activities, Rose Show, garden groups, and food trucks, plus a kite event! In 2019, the Festival had over 18,000 visitors. We have some new activities planned for even more excitement in 2021! 

The Rose Festival is a celebration of Broken Arrow’s return to its history as “The City of Roses” and is a fund-raiser for the future Broken Arrow Rose Garden. Chalk It Up! is a celebration of creativity and fund-raiser for the new Broken Arrow Creative Arts Center. Proceeds from your artist booth fees will go to both endeavors. 

General Information 

Note: Artists will only participate on Friday & Saturday October 1 & 2 in the Rose District.

Sixty (60) artists will be chosen to participate as vendors in the Festival. All entries will be reviewed and booth selections will be made based on the variety of art medium, booth appearance, and quality of product. You may share your booth with other artists. Space is limited so submit your signed, completed artist application as soon as possible for consideration. Application Deadline is Friday, Sept 10, 2021 and notification of acceptance will be sent within a week of the receipt of the application. Please do not send a payment until the application is accepted. The Artist is responsible for all sales transactions and reporting of sales tax. 

NEW The Rose Festival will sponsor a Kite Contest:

Sunday, October 3rd the Rose Festival moves to the Broken Arrow Event Park for “Rose Kites over Broken Arrow”. To tie the kite event to the art event, we are adding a Kite Contest! Create a kite to be on display at your booth. The winner of the Kite Contest will receive a ribbon and free booth space in 2022 Festival! You can receive a free kite to decorate or make your own. Kite Contest guidelines will be provided upon acceptance to the Festival. 

Booth fee:

The fee for a 10’ x 10’ booth space is $60. You will not have to share any additional sales profit with the Festival. Artist will be provided a 10 x 10 space and agree to provide their own display set up: tent, display walls, tables, chairs & screens. Tents and equipment may be 

rented from the Festival: Rental Fees are: 10 x 10 tent: $40; Six-foot table: $5; Chair: $1 To rent equipment, contact Beverly barosefestival@gmail.com. 

Security: Police officers will be on duty throughout the Festival.
